Ahmad Jawid Sharifi

Ahmad Jawid Sharifi, 20

Ahmad comes from the distant province of Faryab, in Afghanistan. He was 18 when he crossed the Bulgarian Turkish border to get to Europe.

He has been missing since September 21th 2022 near Burgas (BG), but we don’t have the precise position. His brothers, Marwan, told us that at some point Ahmad did not feel good. His travel companions sent Marwan photos of that moment.

When he went missing he was wearing a blue dress with a star-shaped stamp on his jacket. His family contacted some bulgarian organizations that have coordinated with the afghan ambassador in Sofia. At the moment there’s no evidence of Ahmad's presence in Bulgaria.
