Rabeh is young. When he decides to leave, he is 22 and definitively wants to leave behind 11 years of war and violence; above all, he wants to leave a land that can no longer give any prospect of life. Being the only male in his family, he was not required to fulfill military service, therefore he decided to leave toward a better future in Europe.

He tried the game several times; his last attempt together with a group of young people and a guide. He had no money, no phone, not even documents. He was wearing black pants and a jacket, green striped gloves and shoes with the Nike logo.

The family lost contact with Rabeh on November 25, 2022. Later, the family will try to track him down by asking the Red Cross, posting an ad on Facebook pages for missing people, but without getting a response.
